Day 1 - Florence, Italy
Arrive in Florence, Tuscany. Enjoy the setting sun over the Chianti wine region on the horizon.
Day 2 - Chianti, Italy
Tuscan wine tasting and cooking class. Travel from your morning farmhouse cooking class in Montfiridolfi before sipping on a glass of one of the oldest wines in the world, Chianti wine, at rooftop lunch.
Day 3 - Gubbio, Italy
Arezzo in Tuscany and on to Gubbio in Umbria. Stroll along the streets of the ancient hilltop city Arezzo, home to rich historic architecture as you enjoy a guided walking tour.
Day 4 - Gubbio, Italy
Truffles, ceramic and more in Gubbio. Experience a medieval walking tour through the towns well preserved Roman amphitheater, 13th-century church and more. Take a taste of the delicate truffles at a renovated castle boasting a truffle farm.
Day 5 - Assisi, Italy
Assisi and on to Perugia, Umbria’s capital. Visit wold heritage site, Assisi, perched on a hilltop as you enjoy a walking tour of this medieval gem before indulging in an unforgettable lunch celebrating the bounty of the land.
Day 6 - Perugia, Italy
Medieval arts and crafts in Perugia. Explore the town of Perugia then proceed to the workshop of Giuditta Brozzetti to experience the medieval craft of hand-weaving antique “Jacquard” frames.
Day 7 - Spoleto, Italy
Spoleto, underground Narni and Rome. On the way to the famous city of Rome, stop for a walking tour of the city of Spoleto. Visit Narni Sotterranea (Narni Underground), ancient roman ruins hidden underground for centuries.
Day 8 - Rome, Italy
Journey home from Rome.
